Not enough human ranks
Baby. Child. Adult. When you're a baby, the decisions you make aren't necessarily very good ones: that's ok, you're only a baby and 'mummy and daddy' will look after you. When you're a child, it's pretty much the same really: you can make good and bad decisions it doesn't matter, there's someone there to overide your daftness and steer you in the right direction. However, once you're an adult, decisions are pretty much exclusively yours to make and you're responsible for the repercussions. That's no bloody good! Most adults are idiots and shouldn't be allowed to think, let alone make decisions on their own. There should be more 'human ranks'. Baby. Child. Incompetent adult. Competent adult. Wise adult. Only wise adults should be able to make decisions that actually count. Competent adults could also be able to, at a push, although it's probably not a great idea most of the time. But everyone else has the same 'decision status': whatever they say should never actually count, unless a wise or competent adult agrees. There.
