My friend Mark
My friend Mark is over from San Francisco this week, visiting his folks. He left the UK last year to go and live and work in the US and he's doing well over there: it sounds like a really nice place, a cool lifestyle. So before he left, he lived in the Lakes and spent his time taking panoramic photos and selling them on his website and from galleries. If you haven't seen them before, take a look: they're awesome.
He came round yesterday and we went for a walk on the beach with our dogs. It was very windy, raining and misty, so we could have been anywhere, but the dogs like it there because they get to run around a lot. They'd eaten 4 tubes of Smarties during the day so they had plenty of energy. We went for a lush meal at our local restaurant afterwards and then sat up quite late talking about stuff. It was really good.
