Missing In Action

Here's the story of the missing website.
All of a sudden my website failed to appear. No matter what I tried, some American company's holding page showed instead. I can't tell you how concerned I was: I like my website, especially my domain name. I looked into it and it turned out my hosting company hadn't renewed my account, which meant it wasn't mine any more. I rang them up and gave them what for and they said they'd sort it. It took 5 days!
Having a website is nice. Having a website that you can't see and you can't post to isn't nice, and is like not having a website at all.
So now it's back. Phew!
