Cats and tunes

I passed another cat this morning on my way to work. He was in the middle of the road looking at a bird on a hedge and hadn't noticed me. When he eventually did, he looked intently at my tyres - I'm sure he was weighing up whether or not he could take me. Cheeky little bugger!

I heard a beauty on the iPod this morning. At first I wasn't sure, but I liked it, so I listened again but with the volume up so I could make out the words. I've listened to it 5 times so far today: it's totally lush.
So here are the lyrics - what's the song?
