Hello.
I'm in Malta.
It's a work thing: the company who provide the platform on which our work website sits is based out here. Seeing as we're new to each other, we thought it a good idea if we got together so they could teach us how to use it all. So we came over.
I got up early this morning to fly from Manchester. The flight was nice. I had a window seat and the views of Lake Geneva with the snow-capped mountains all around, the Italian Alps, and Siccily with Mount Etna were tree men dose.
We arrived here around 3pm. It's lovely and sunny and quite warm (around 16 degrees). The hotel is very fancy (and it's got broadband) and the area seems quite lively with bars and restaurants and cinemas and boutiques.
Malta seems nice, but I've only seen what we passed during the taxi ride from the airport: lots of dusty-coloured square, flat-roofed buildings; cacti; old cars.
Got to go the 'the company' tomorrow at 8:30am so won't get to see too much tomorrow daytime, but hey, it's still good isn't it!
