Happy new year!
I don't know about you, but 2004 was quite something. For 2005 to match it will take an extra amount of effort. So come on people, we can do it if we work together! Heave!
I had a nice Christmas on the whole. Seeing as I live in a hotel as the guest of the owner - who also happens to be my girlfriend's father - I had to help out now and then. Not much, I must admit, but it meant I was never sure I should be sitting down with my feet up when I was sitting down with my feet up. So there was that. But the main thing was that everyone was busy working so we never really had any time to just relax. But anyway.
We drove over to Bamburgh on the east coast for a couple days after Christmas, this time to visit the rest of Corrie's family. It's nice over there: we had a walk on the beach, played cricket on the park beneath the castle, ate lots and sat about talking.
I popped in to work on Thursday since I had to check up on some stuff I'd done before the holidays. It wasn't a good day since pretty much everything I'd done was either broken or shit. But I left at 2pm so that was good.
New year was spent working in the kitchen - I cleaned the pots and pans. It was ok.
And so it's now the future - 2005 sure is advanced, eh! I'm waiting for my personal robot to arrive, as well as my flying car; I expect they've been delayed, what with all the Christmas post.
