I'm starting to feel the pressure a bit.
When I started my new job 4 months ago, I was uncertain as to what I would be doing. My job title was the same as the one I had at my old job, and the pay was about the same, so I assumed that the job would be similar too.
For the first few months, as you know, I wasn't too enamored with it all: an agency was employed to do most of the work I thought I'd be doing, so there wasn't really any need for me.
And then we decided to do not use that agency any more... and all of a sudden there was a need for me.
So, for the last few weeks I've been going for it: preparing hundreds of images, editing copy, uploading product details (although my colleague does most of this), setting up email broadcasts, designing graphics, writing email newsletters, making web pages, setting up web stats, meetings in London about our platform, working on a complete site redesign.... There's only me, I'm responsible for it all.
Which is fine, except I wasn't expecting any of it! And whilst I love learning new stuff, especially when it comes to the web, and I'm managing ok, I'm struggling to keep up! It's exciting, but I barely get time to blog.
I know, it's ridiculous.
