My new G5 has arrived! Man alive, it's an absolute beast of a machine: very smart and absolutely ginormous. I had to open the side door during the set-up process - it's stunning inside, like a museum exhibit, all the interesting bits safely behind glass.
Anyway, I've connected it up and am nearly ready to go - just need a guy from the computer department to come along and connect me to the network. They said they'll be able to do this tomorrow. Bugger.
I have had a little play with the wireless keyboard and mouse and they are totally lush! I'm gonna get me some of them. Actually, I quite fancy a G5 as well.
Mmm, what can I sell?
We bought a new car on Saturday, a W reg Ford Mondeo Zetec estate. It's mint, massive, a real pleasure to drive and it's Corrie's. I've had a go in it and I like it, but it's Corrie's car.
So now we have that, I'm selling my 1995 Volvo 480 Ltd edition Celebration "Maybe you could get a G5 with the money!" I hear you say. Well, yes, I could, but I'm actually going to get a Land Rover Defender. I'd like a G5 but iBy's the only Mac for me, and he's brilliant. And a G5 wouldn't fit so easily in a Land Rover.
