It's been a tough week so far. Tomorrow's Friday, so it's nearly over, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it's been a tough week.
It hasn't been tough in a traditional sense: I haven't been working late or physically exerting myself or engaging in mentally taxing activities or finding myself in emotionally challenging situations or anything like that. In fact, I'm not sure why it's been a tough week: the weather's been pretty nice (if a little chilly); I've got a new toy to play with (the G5); I've been getting plently of sleep (around 8 hours per night); I'm eating pretty well (some, on observing my midriff, might say eating too well); I'm doing a little bit of exercise every day (I walk to work, walk back home for lunch, walk back to work then walk back home - all in all, I walk for about 30 miutes a day).
I think it must be the change in season. And the fact that I haven't got a home of my own at the moment. Oh, and also because there are several 'projects' on the go at the moment, listed in order of importance: buying that home of our own, selling my car, trying to figure out what software I need for iBy so I can start making music again. I can never quite relax when I've got a 'project' on the go.
So perhaps that's why it's been a tough week so far. Tomorrow's Friday, so it's nearly over.
