babyatom on toenails
Most of us have feet with toes on, each of which has its own toenail. Just like their finger counterparts, these nails grow and require regular maintenance. This doesn't need to be done too often, but it does need to be done, otherwise you start to get holes in your socks. If you leave it too long, you'll get very sore feet and probably won't be able to walk. If it's got that far, you'll probably have 'bingoing toenails', a very painful condition which results in your toes sticking up at inopportune moments and shouting 'house!'.
I see my feet every day and can spot when my toenails are getting too long, requiring maintenance. At this point I often think 'I'll do them tomorrow'. Tomorrow comes and I see my toenails again and I think 'I'll do them tomorrow'. This can continue for anything up to 2 weeks. I'm not sure why I procrastinate but I do.
I went into town yesterday with a clipboard to do a survey and see if, as I suspected, this happened with everyone. I'm sorry to say I can't report back to you on that: no-one would answer my questions.
