babyatom's BIG BLOG was somewhere for me to air some thoughts and tell you about what I'd been up to between March 2003 and January 2006. I'm now here

Don't you just hate those weekends where you end up starting a new week more tired than you finished the old one! I shouldn't complain, it's good to do lots of things, but boy was I knackered this morning!
I went to have a go with that Land Rover on Saturday. It was miles away but it was worth it - I had a little drive in it and it was lush. The only downside was that it was too expensive so I shan't be getting that one. Still, it was fun to try it out.
On Sunday I climbed up Harrison Stickle. Again, it was miles away but the countryside along the way was very pretty so it wasn't too much of a hardship. The climb up took about 2 hours and was painful - it was very steep and it was very hot and there were millions of flying red ants about: I inhaled a few. The mountain is very impressive, a bit like a mini himalaya: huge sheer cliffs and giant rocky summits. I eventually got to the top and was about to enjoy my lemonade celebration when I noticed huge red clouds of flying ants. I had a quick look round the summit and headed down again. Don't worry though, I still had my lemonade stop, but it wasn't at the top. The walk down was quick and easy and I was back at the car 3 1/4 hours after having left it. All in all: a bloody hard walk with incredible views but the ants spoilt it a bit.
I'm now in work and it's starting to kick in now: I was very anxious this morning, not sure what I'm meant to be doing, feeling uncomfortable... It's ok, it'll pass, but it's a little unpleasant for now. That's my fault for moving jobs I suppose!
