During my week between old and new jobs I am doing all the Cardiff things I haven't done during my 4 years living here. So yesterday we went to visit Cardiff castle. We had the guided tour and strolled around the keep and the walls. It was good to see inside what I'd passed by outside for so long, but to be brutally honest, it wasn't great. Perhaps this is because I'm not into castles and history. Anyway, that's done. Next: the museum.
I've got a cold. Symptoms started on Friday night, Saturday was spent snoozing on the sofa, Sunday pretty much the same but with a little stroll included. I'm feeling better today but boy, it's a bugger of a cold. I haven't had one for years - I seem to manage to avoid them. But the ones that do get through knock me for six. Anyway, I'm on the mend (sniff, cough).
We have a new dog living with us, Ginger. I call her the Ginger Ninja. She's not actually new, she's 13, and she belongs to Corrie's poorly gran. She's nice
