Boy oh boy, I've sure been busy recently! I've got lots to do at work, not only sorting out my projects and preparing to leave but also working on fun new stuff like making videos for our website.
Yesterday my Mac stopped working - it simply wouldn't start. I thought that was it for me here, the premature start of the end. But there were things on my computer that I really didn't want to lose so I investigated and it turned out it was only the PMU that needed resetting! Ha ha, how simple! No, I had no idea what this was but, with a little investigating with my friend Bobby Google, I found out that there's a little computer in my computer that handles all the power - it's called the power management unit. It had decided that it couldn't be bothered to tell the main computer to switch on anymore, hence the problem. I reset its sorry little self, shamone, and it bucked up its ideas and started up normally. I was very pleased!
So how've you been? Got anything planned for the summer? I'm going to go up to the Lakes you know. No, not for a holiday, forever! Yes, that's right, I'm quite looking forward to it :-)
