Konichiwa!
Well, I'm back from Japan.
I had an excellent time! Me and my little brother wandered around Japan like a couple of ronins, doing as we pleased. We visited temples, shrines, traditional ryokans, mountains and rivers, rode bikes, bivvied by the river, ate soba and were basically busy doing as much as we could in Kyoto (see previous entry). We played loads of games, ate in interesting restaurants, fished, played baseball, rode roller-coasters, walked, shopped, watched movies, smoked, looked about and had fun in Tokyo.
My little brother has got himself a nice flat in a lovely area and he has a good life. His Japanese is mighty impressive too, so all in all, he was the perfect person to show me around Japan. All in all, I think it's ace over there - really weird and interesting. Tokyo in particular is amazing - there's everything you could ever want all in one place.
