I went for a job interview last week.
It was for an Online Media Adviser post in Kendal, working for the Lake District National Park Authority. I got down to the last 5 but didn't get the job. Oh well!
So I've been preoccupied with that for the last 2 weeks and haven't wanted to 'blog' - all I could do was try and calmly control my waiting-to-hear anxiety. And now it's all over so I can concentrate on the next exciting thing - Japan!!!
I fly from Heathrow to Frankfurt on Saturday morning, then from Frankfurt to Tokyo in the afternoon. I arrive in the land of the Japs Sunday morning and will meet up with my little bro who will then show me round for a couple of weeks. We're going to visit Tokyo (where he lives), Kyoto, Nara, the region of Wakayama ken, mountains, outdoor spas, temples.... It's going to be nice.
If I get to a computer I'll 'blog'. If not, I'll save it all for when I get back - with pictures!
