Yeah, yeah, it's hot, been boiling sweating hot all weekend. Yuk.
Last week I asked Corrie (becasue she knows these things) whether the water that currently exists in the world is the same water that has always existed or whether it's new water that has been created to replace the water that has been 'used'. We had a little talk about it and we agreed that it was probably all the same water going round and round in an endless cycle.
Last night we watched a program all about this and it turns out we were right. Billions of years ago, a huge lump of water crashed into Earth and we've been using this water ever since. It lives in the sea, evaporates, moves around in clouds, rains, gets used by plants that get eaten by animals that.... I thought this was fascinating.
I bought Ween's new album 'quebec' and listened to it too. It's ace, albeit a bit tough to get into. Ween have become 1970s hippies and some of their tracks are proper, serious songs (or so it seems) and, if it weren't for the fact that they're by Ween, I probably wouldn't listen to them. But they are by Ween and I do.
