Lance won the Tour de France! Yippee! I don't suppose you followed it but it was truly great.
I'm reading Lance's book at the moment - 'It's not about the bike'. It's good book. Well, it's not a good book but it's a good story. Lance was diagnosed with testicular cancer that had spread to his lungs and brain. He went through chemo and all that stuff and came back to win the Tour de France, the world's greatest bike race. And with this year's win, that's 5 times in a row! He has matched Indurain's record. Next year's race will be very, very exciting.
So now that BB4 and Wimbledon and the Tour de France are over, it's back to normal, nothing to look forward to. Although...no, nothing.
Still, at least BB4 is finished, boy was it dull!
I watched 'Insomnia' at the weekend. It's a great film for 50 minutes then it becomes average. Shame. The main guy (Al Pacino) is called Detective Dormer and he suffers from insomnia. Ha ha.
'West Wing' is back. I don't know whether it's because I haven't seen it for a while or what but it didn't seem too good. Not as good as '24' - the final episode is coming soon! However, it's on again tonight so I will see if it's just the unfamiliarity that tainted it. I'm sure that's the reason.
My car broke on Friday. When I say broke I mean that the fan stuck on. You know when you're driving in traffic and the fan comes on to cool the radiator? Well, the fan came on and never went off again. So I called the RAC and he unplugged it and set up a little wire thing so I could activate and deactivate it myself. That was good. On Saturday I bought a part from Volvo (a radiator fan switch £19.49) and took it to a man and he fitted it and fixed the problem. Great!
