Although our garden is very small, we have managed to plant lots of things in it. There are climbers, roses, shrubs, plants, alpine things and trees. One of the trees is a weeping willow, which, when we planted it 2 years ago, was just right. It has now become a giant (we should have known) and drapes across into our neighbour's garden. This weekend I decided I should trim it a bit so leaned over the wall to assess the situation. There was almost more tree hanging over the wall than on our side! So I hacked away and filled 3 bin bags full of branches. I was a little harsh but it's for the best.
I also washed the front of our house - window, window frame, door and door frame. I think I might buy a Rover and some slacks from M & S this weekend.
I spent about 8 hours this weekend watchng the Tour de France. It's fantastic - Lance and Jan are neck and neck, with Vinikourov breathing down these. Today's stage should be a cracker!
I had a thought the other day and it was interesting and I made a mental note to remember it to post here.
But I've forgotten it.
