It's a funny old world. Here's me, sat in a room with all our stuff piled high, whilst next door is a bare-brick building site with rubble and discarded Sun newspapers. Then half way across the world is my little brother, surrounded by neon and samurais, a little closer my mum and dad surrounded by suburban comfort. A few hundred years ago my great, great, great, great, great grandfather was thinking about something and drinking some water. This very minute someone's been hit by a car and is in great agony, whilst a couple in Sydney are celebrating the birth of their first child. Hidden amongst the trees in a forest far away, a leopard is gnawing at the bones of its mangled prey, and somewhere else a bacterial infection is taking hold. It doesn't really make any sense.
