Boy oh boy, have I been busy over the last few days! Yes, I have been busy.
As you may be aware, Clearing started last Thursday - the time when students who didn't do too well in their exams try and get a place at uni. Well, we offered a '24 hour online chat with current students' - it's good for prospective students to talk to real people and get real answers. So I did the night shift (as supervisor) - 21:30 - 05:30 - it was really tough staying awake! By the time I got home on the first morning I was knackered. The 2nd night we watched DVDs - 'Bowling for Columbine', 'Frailty' and 'Punch Drunk Love' - in between chatting online. That was better and by the time I got home that morning I was only tired. 'Punch Drunk Love' is brilliant by the way - I would recommend it 100%. Trust me - it's ace!
On Friday I drove up to Dan's house for his stag weekend. It's nice up where he lives (near Cheltenham). We went out to the local that night and it was good. On Saturday we went for a bike ride and then got ready to go down to Bristol. Once there, we went to a bike show, a pub, the hotel, a comedy club and a night club. I shan't go into detail, suffice to say, it was fun. I cam home Sunday afternoon and didn't do much - I was pretty tired.
I'm looking forward to having a proper night's sleep!
